JOB SUMMARY: 

AM LLC is looking for Code Configuration Manager candidate to support our Veterans Affairs client. 

The Code Configuration Manager is responsible for executing CM throughout the project lifecycle (development, migration, deployment, and security).

Strong preference is for those candidates with code configuration management experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs or another federal agency.

In addition, this role will require 1 week per month onsite in the Arlington, VA office, so it is required that all candidates currently live within a 60-mile radius of this location. Over time, this role will eventually be onsite only, but that timeframe has not yet been determined. 

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The Code Configuration Manager will deliver innovative solutions that help our federal clients improve the services they provide to the American public. You explore how new technologies can be applied to solve challenging business problems. You thrive in a collaborative, creative and productive team environment.

Duties will include, but not be limited to: 

• Developing and maintaining the CM Plan, policies, and procedures (including best practices across teams).
• Creating and managing CM repositories with the DevSecOps team.
• Establishing and promoting product releases (baselines) following existing build and deploy processes.
• Managing transitions from development team to operations.
• Working with Development Leads to track code changes and version control.
• Conducting Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) across lower and production environments.
• Facilitating daily CM audits.
• Reviewing and integrating all app requirements (functional, security, performance)

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• US citizenship or Green Card holder required to obtain a federal security clearance to support this Veterans Affairs program.
• ·Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required.
• ·8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• Minimum of 5 years of code configuration management experience.
• ·Required skills include:

- Managing configuration changes in Git.

- NPM, Maven and other similar package managers.

- Branching/versioning strategies (Java, JavaScript, etc.)

- Minimum of 5 years ofhands-on experience with version and configuration management tools including GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, Maven, AWS, Dynatrace, Docker, Kubernetes.

- Supporting applications in a cloud environment / microservice arch/infrastructure in complex projects.

STRONGLY PREFERRED:

• An active PIV card from the Department of Veterans Affairs
• Experience working as a Code Configuration Manager supporting federal clients

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a quiet, dedicated workspace for Home Office work. 
• User-provided home high-speed network connection

• Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance.
• This position requires the use of a computer screen for extensive periods of time.
• This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) most of the time.
• Viewing computer screen/monitor
• Utilizing keyboard
• Answering phone/making calls
• Participating in meetings and client-facing meetings in person or on camera

The salary range for this role is $110,156.80 - 119,121.60. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, business need, and location.
